Close to one of the national museums (and the Museum LUAS tram stop), and law school. Lots of takeaway shops for food. Laundry facilities on site(!)

Blackhall Place
I expected an apart hotel, but it is student accommodation. Although clean, it is very basic, and very close to the river and centre of town. I wouldn’t stay there again, but if you want somewhere cheap and don’t mind sharing a bathroom with strangers, then go for it.

Dont book with hotels.com. first off all they dont notify the accomadation so when you arrive at reception the guy wont let you in. Then you will need too ring hotels.com and they will have too inform the reception. Its a nightmare and especially if you arrive late. Also it was very noisy because the room are so close together. I would avoid at all cost.

Disappointing overall
Very noisy residents, noisy doors, no private bathroom, dirty bathrooms full of previous residents stuff and dirty towels, kitchen full previous residents rotting food, very little crockery or cutlery, no pots or pans or utensils, kitchen windows did not open.
