Stay away from the remodeled room
I took my family of four to Luxor. It was a great deal. The check in rep recommended an upgrade to a newly remodeled room and I fell for it. Although it only costs 20 bucks, it's not worth it. I don't see what features deserve extra money. The pipes in the shower smells like poop or sewer. My sister's room smells like tobacco smoke. My husband found a tampon under the dresser. Since the room itself is a great deal, I'll say let's stick with the old room.

We had a bad experience in the self parking garage. Before I could get to the wifi pad and tap my room card, the garage attendant pushed the ticket button and handed me a ticket. I had to pay $10 to get my car out. The attendant just said "too bad" and shrugged his shoulders. The person that checked us in was very short with us and never made eye contact. That being said, we used the valet once and they were awesome and the bell desk at check in and in room delivery were prompt and really nice. Also, my sister was so disappointed that the pool closes at 8 pm and doesn't allow for an evening swim. We thoroughly enjoyed your buffet. The food and service staff were excellent and allowed us plenty of time for a family dinner.

Go somewhere else
Room was not clean when arrived, no towels and had to call 3 times for them. Room service never came the next day either after I called they sent someone 4 hours later (7pm). Room was very basic and felt like we got downgraded. You could hear every sound that people made all through the night. There was also a huge gap under the door that people could see in. Felt as though we were staying at motel 6. When we called the front desk they didn’t care at all!

Poor directional instruction
The parking is hard to find after 1am and they gave poor instruction on how to get to level 2 of the parking lot. The ramp is hiding in a narrow street with truck and RV parking on the road. It's frustrating getting to my room cuz they have no specific instruction.
