Boston Park Plaza, Boston
I travel quite a bit and this room was one of the smallest and worst i have been in. In addition, I agreed to pay 359 per night and one of the nights was charged at 419. In addition, they attempted to charge me for two nights of valet and I only had a car for one night. overall, a terrible experience.

Great location, mediocre service, ok rooms
Rooms are smallish and dated but location is good. Service was disappointing. We had an issue with our lock malfunctioning, and it took us two trips to the front desk and about 45 minutes sitting in the hallway before someone finally came to let us in and fix our lock- which took about a minute of maintenance's time. There was no follow up from the front desk ensuring we were helped. Discouraging considering the price of the room and a complete waste of our time.

Not a good experience at Boston Park Plaza.
We loved the area and check-in was great. The complimentary bottles of water were most welcome as it was very warm outside. Our room was very small but was adequate except the bathroom door would not close properly. It would go closed but wouldn’t latch so kept bouncing open. Wouldn’t be so bad but the bed was right outside it. You had to turn the bathroom light on outside the door so the other person woke up if you used the bathroom during the night. There was also no fan in the bathroom and the taps were loose on the wall of the shower/tub. We had to reconnect to the WiFi every time we re-entered the room and sometimes it took quite a while. Our TV wouldn’t work properly a few different times. We reported it and were told an engineer would be right up and twice he/she never showed up. Finally we did get it sorted when the engineer came up on our last day and fixed it while we were out. We reported the bathroom door and were told it was swelling from the heat. Not so - it closed but wouldn’t catch the latch. The staff just smiled at our reports of TV and the bathroom door and said that they were sorry. We will not stay there again. We used in January and were very pleased with our results. Curious as to what the Facilities Fee is actually for as we had issues with our facilities.

Amazing location, outrageous price
The location was great!!! Rooms were very small for the price of the hotel but it was sufficient. The fitness center associated with it is really nice. It would have been nice for breakfast to be included, once again for the price of the hotel.

Location great, room type not as reserved.
Location of this hotel is great; we stayed there because of the location, and we appreciated the easy T access - we got from Fenway to the hotel in 20 minutes post-game. Unfortunately, we arrived very late (1:30a.m.) because of flight delays, and we were told that the room type we had reserved - 2 queens - wasn't available, so we were given a king room with 2 cots. There wasn't really anything to do about it in the middle of the night, but the 15 & 17 year old boys were not happy with the cots. Had I known they didn't guarantee room type, we would have chosen a similar location but a different hotel. For the $$, it seems getting the room you reserve should be a given.
