Tight Quarters with a great location for History
Room was extremely small. Door to bathroom had a nitch in it so it could close past the toilet. That is how small. Rest of Hotel was beautiful most of staff were real nice and helpful. Especially the Bell Man!

Not a 4-star hotel
Their wifi isn't free and I didn't know that until someone tucked a piece of bill under my door 4am the day I was leaving. $20 (taxes included) per day is pretty ridiculous this day, not to mention it wasn't that fast either -- I had to switch to my 4G sometimes. I didn't know I was a light sleeper until I stayed here: walls are super super thin. You can literally hear everything from your neighbors and the hallway. I slept really bad during my stay there. And everything else in hotel comes with extra charge. I wanted to use the computer, and they are located in the fedex store (aka "business center") that will charge you 0.30 per minute for browsing. The customer service was good, staff was friendly and didn't try to challenge me when I complained. I got my room switched after the first night, but apparently, the noisiness is not unique to one room -- it's the whole hotel. I was also told that the "facilities fees" I paid for wifi were mandatory, which is also ridiculous on all levels. All the money that I spent on this trip at Boston Park Plaza was just not worth it. Be aware of this fancy-looking but unworthy hotel. Maybe that's why their staff were so nice -- because that's the only thing they could possibly do at all. But this is not a 4-star hotel.

Wonderful Atmosphere and Location
The staff was always pleasant and very helpful. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. I loved the eating and drinking options available both in and within walking distance of the hotel. Overall very impressed, but the I spent $64 on having 4 Sam Adams sent to my room. I knew it wouldn't be cheap and I did it just to see how much it would end up being with all the extra charges, so I'm not mad, just think it's a bit steep. Also, I asked how much WiFi would be to use the Chromecast in my room and it was $20. Those are my only minor complaints. I would definitely stay here again though for the wonderful atmosphere and location.
