Very disappointed I the Hyatt. I would characterize this hotel as indifferent to us. Please understand I have traveled extensively and am not someone who complains a lot, but for me the Hyatt in Aruba is substandard in its services. I made the reservation through Expedia. At no point prior to our stay did I restive any information from the hotel. Most hotels would sen a welcome note providing important information prior to the stay. Such as: How to get to the hotel from the airport- hotel van? or other? They should have told us in advance that to assure we could get good beach a pool palaces and umbrellas we could reserve these in advance. But they didn't tell us this so we had to to settle for the worst possible locations every day. When we arrived at the hotel there was a problem with my entry E card. Information about my covid test was incomplete, although this has been missed by the entry personnel at the airport. I showed the full report to the reception desk and manager and asked if they could transmit this to the entry officials. They sad not, but didn't even try and told me I would have to go back to the airport to correct this or they wouldn't check me in. Wow! a brutal and indifferent welcome. Since the round trip to the airport would cost $70 USD, the manager said they would reimburse me for this. Upon return we gave them the taxi receipt, but when we checked out no credit had been issued. I fought and got it, but I would never go to a Hyatt again
