A hotel to skip in Rome.
I had a horrid experience at Duca d'Alba. To start off, they gave my room to someone else only to "upgrade me to a smaller room that had poor internet and poor air condition. The room was left extremely humid, and made the outside weather of Rome (which was about 23) seem cool. The next night I was then downgraded back to the room I had originally booked and paid for in advance!!! which was actually just the same sized room. And lastly, I hated the servicewith one of the workers. I didn't catch her name but it was the full blonde woman. She just had a angry attitude and was very rude in responding to my questions. And on top of that, she managed to mess up my dinner reservations, and in the first place didn't want to call and make the reservations for me, since I of course had no phone data in the country. I was quite disappointed and I would never stay there again.

Great hotel for the price
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Duca d'Alba. The room was on the smaller side but it was perfect for what I needed; a bed and a bathroom. The shower could have been a little better and the walls were kinda thin (that or the couple next door just talked super loud). You can do worse in Rome. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location
We got a room in an attached building with no natural sun light. Also, it was extremely hard to regulate the shower water temperature; It would randomly fluctuate from cold to hot. On the positive side, the location was great, plus it was right next to a subway station. The service was very good. The room was well furnished, although it had very little closet space. Finally, the wifi service was not very good.

Nice, Friendly Hotel
We enjoyed our stay here...it was a little hard to find...our GPS would not work between the buildings and we drove around several times trying to find the place.. Even if we had ended up on the right street, we might have missed it...the sign is very basic and hard to see...we arrived at night...
