Phoenix Park Hotel, Washington
Great for a mini vacation
We stayed at the Phoenix Park for a mini vacation and had a great stay. The staff was very friendly from the moment we pulled up. The hotel was very clean and located in a great spot within walking distance of all the D.C. attractions.

Very Good8.0
Very Nice Hotel
I thought this was a very nice hotel. We stayed for a week while visiting DC for the first time. I chose the location because it was close to Union station, and that was definitely nice. You can tell the hotel is old because everything about it is pretty small, but it has been updated and looks really nice and clean. Before our trip, I noted that many reviewers complained about the noise. We were so exhausted every night from sight-seeing that we were never awakened by any noise on the street or in the hotel, but in the mornings as we woke and were getting ready, I could definitely tell it was loud. My only real complaint is that the housekeeping folks came by very early each morning. It wasn’t such a problem for us this time, but if we had wanted to sleep in even a little on any mornings, I would have been quite upset!

Great place to stay in D.C.
This was a great location to visit our son. We were close to the Mall and found it very easy to get around the city. We found rental bikes right around the corner and the welcoming doormen were always willing to call a car. We also took advantage of the fabulous restaurant/bar, The Dubliner, downstairs where we found good food and cold drinks. We had a late flight out on our last day in the city and the hotel was very accommodating in holding our suitcases so that we could enjoy a few extra hours of siteseeing. This is definitely a new favorite that we will return to!

Great staff, great location!
I was at this hotel for business but would happily book it for a couple's trip as well. Thinking about it as a version of a stay-cation, since we somewhat live in the area. I can't say enough about the staff - when I checked in, housekeeping staff, front desk when I checked out, bellmen, etc. All superb!
