Typical for Albuquerque, needs updating
Like most Albuquerque hotels as far as i can tell, the hotel needs major revamping - the bathroom (especially tub) is very dated, and the water takes a long long time to warm. Low popcorn ceilings. There was a grayish (formerly white) blanket between two white sheets on the bed as bedding. For some reason, they had a table with a chair, but only one chair, though there was plenty of room for two. It said 3.5 stars, I would put this hotel at no more than 3. The employees were helpful and welcoming, but the condition of the unit was not up to par.

Travelling with friends
We were travelling with friends we haven't seen in awhile. We asked to be as near to each other as possible. We were on floor 8 and they were on the 13th floor...didn't even matter room numbers. Both them and us slept warm and no matter how we set the a/c, it never really cooled off enough. All of the staff was extremely polite and helpful (I'm just accounting for front desk staff at check in with the room distances). The beds are always comfy and the rooms clean and nice. We'd stay there again, but I don't know how we get a similar request heard in the future.

Almost excellent stay, would come back!
I would have rated our stay with all excellent ratings, if not for extremely slow service and rude employees in the bar and grill section..Luke, in particular, I did lodge a complaint with the front desk. Other than that, it was a lovely hotel stay.
