Decent stay with an unfortunate surprise
The hotel was fine, but not quite worth the cost because of the condition of the building (broken elevator signs, stained floors... ) . The amenities like coffee and tea in the common area are nice, and the area seems comfortable. Unfortunately, there was actually feces on the window curtains in the first room they gave me, which is ridiculous. Although cleaning shit out of the window curtains is probably not the first step for cleaning the rooms, I expect to avoid dealing with that in an established hotel. I was only given a new room, which wasn't a comforting reaction to the situation.

This hotel was adequate but disappointing for a Hampton Inn. The first room had a terrible smell, so they changed our room, no problem. The second room was still very musty and overall really tight. Tiny bathroom and very small room for 2 double beds. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, bath and room looked clean. Staff was very friendly. Down side was room was small and tight and had a lingering musty smell. Poor ventilation system? Overall it was adequate but a bit pricey for what it was.

Hampton Inn always terrific.
I,always stay with Hampton Inn when traveling, especially when I’m alone. I’ve never been disappointed. Service is always exceptional, terrific rooms and wonderful breakfast. And the cookies are great - late afternoon or so.
