Friendly and courteous staff! Excellent location one block from the Hakata train station which is not only convienient for travel, but has every shopping choice imaginable! I had a difficult time trying to figure out the WiFi though...

The stay was excellent. Since I had a couple of evening meetings the closing time of the Serena restaurant was a little early for my taste. 10 pm would have been better. But it was not a disaster.

A First-Rate Experience!
At Hotel Nikko Fukuoka, it is truly a first class experience. The staff here are all so polite and accommodating. The Hakata train station is easily accessible by foot (about a 5 minute walk) where you can travel by shinkansen to reach your next destination. Also nearby next to Hakata station is the Hankyu dept store which offers great shopping and an amazing food dept that offers literally thousands of choices. When you return to your hotel after a day of shopping and sightseeing at the beautiful Ohori Park, the staff at the Nikko Fukuoka always welcome you back with a smile and a bow! My only complaint: I wish they had more instructions in English - the TV remote, the in-room humidifier, and the hotel manual were mainly written in Japanese. Still, I give Hotel Nikko Fukuoka a very high rating. I would eagerly stay at this hotel again in the future!

LOVED THIS HOTEL! The service was great and the room was excellent! Spacious room, very comfortable beds, very nice bathroom, fantastic number of electrical outlets for charging our devices. There is also a direct connection to the subway, which made getting to and from the airport very easy. There are also many great places to eat in the subway station building. Wish we could have stayed her longer! Plus, the costs of rooms is very reasonable for what you receive. The only negative comment: they apparently apply a 10% service charge (we didn't know this until we read the check in information) and, although they say that we shouldn't tip the staff, the bell person (who wasn't very good at all) hung around until we gave her a tip.
