Charming
Great location, helpful friendly staff. Small room, not bad for the price. Very nice ambiance, charming older building. Easy access to London museums.

Uncomfortable and overpriced.
I would classify my stay at the Byron Hotel as not good. I was put in a room that was right next to the dining area where breakfast was served, which made sleeping in impossible. The AC did not work properly, so the room got extremely warm and uncomfortable. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible. It's one of those hotels where you have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave, which I do not like. It was definitely overpriced, and I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

Convenient enough...
The people at front desk were very helpful. The hotel was in good location across from Hyde park and a block or 2 away from a couple of Underground stations so was convenient. Breakfast had good selection. Not comfortable beds...i felt the springs! Biggest complaint was that room 6 was below ground level and right next to the street. We could hear EVERYTHING! Made sleeping in beyond 6am impossible!

Great base from which to see all of London
Wonderful friendly staff. Hotel was clean. Great location, we enjoyed Hyde Park every single day! It was easy to get around London from the hotel. Our room was very small. Three travelers were unable to pack/ unpack at the same time due to limited space.

Let Down
When we arrived at the hotel, we were let down. There was mold all over the shower (see photo). The room was ridiculously small, we were constantly tripping over our things and each other with only two people staying there. The breakfast was also minimal. The best thing about this hotel is the location. We are not likely to stay here again.

Worst Towels
We hav stayed in the area before and enjoy it. The Byron was a very small room (which we expected) it it was small for both my wife and I too be able to move about. The worst part was the towels....really just a large hand towel.

Good location
Good location. Close to two trains and Kensington Palace. Room was small and we had to walk through the dining room to get to our room. Bed was also very uncomfortable. All in all, I'd say it's a baseline 3 class hotel.

Byron Hotel
Hotel is very good located, with at least 3 different subway entrances at walking distance. Breakfast is really good. Rooms are really small. We were barely able to walk between beds and luggages in our twin room.

Don't do it !
We stayed at The Byron Hotel because that is my maiden name ! Pictures looked like it was very nicely kept, clean, updated. That is not the case at all. The pictures lied ! The front desk personnel were not helpful. Rooms (2) were NOT clean, very run down. Totally feel taken advantage of by this experience. And we paid too much for the stay. We stayed at an airport hotel for 1/3 of what we paid here and it was great.
