I booked this hotel for a trip I planned to get engaged on. This stay from the start was absolutely horrible. I booked a king sweet which was supposed to sleep 4 I got a sweet that slept 3 with mold on the entire pull out bed. I called hotels.com they were not able to contact any one at the hotel for 3 days. No one from hotels.com was much help. All the amenities were closed the restaurant, spa, pool bar, coffee shop room service maid service (which never came even though scheduled on Tuesday when they asked at check in) and any mail delivery services they claim to have. Nothing was open at 20% capacity but they Thursday my last day there came and they had some talent convention there and magically everything but the spa was open. But when all of those people were checking in (a line of 15 people) they to were complaining of the cleanliness/lack there of. This hotel was not as advertised. I am an ex Disney cast member as well and this is considered a “Disney resort” this is far from the way Disney would ever treat there guests.
Overcharged for parking and did not have security gates were always open
I checked in and checked out 5 minutes later. The room was disgusting. Every door handle was covered in smudges, the bathroom floor had never been cleaned, bedding filthy, wet spots on the carpeting. The phone didn’t even work so I could call down to the front desk. The grossest hotel room I’ve ever stepped in. The only positive is I called and the guest services associate gave me a refund.
Vacationed with my daughter at this nice hotel. Not top of the line, but definitely a Disney recognized resort. The pool area was nice with a full bar and lots of seating to lounge, poolside. The staff at the service desk were all amazing and very nice. Our vacation was really nice and the hotel was perfect. A ten minute walk to Disney Springs which was so nice. Hotel offers free shuttle service to all parks, which was the best thing ever. I definitely recommend a stay here, the cost is inexpensive and the amenities are great. Oh yes, and there is a nice restaurant in the hotel with great American food. The downfall to the restaurant is it’s only open Friday-Sun.
Overpriced for what it was. Came here with my husband and 2 kids and the suite room wasn’t as big as other local hotels we are used to staying at. Requested over the phone to be in the suites in the poolside building to have access to a balcony, was told it would be no problem. Once arrived, was not able to get a room in that building. Overall, not bad but expected more.
We’ve stayed at this hotel in the past and really enjoyed it, but unfortunately, our most recent stay was lacking. My husband and I booked a 6-night stay in a suite. The nightly rate through hotels.com was $110 a night. When we checked in, we found out we would also have to pay $36/day resort fee plus $25/day parking which brings the hotel room to ~$170 per night plus tax. I’m not really sure what the “resort fee” actually covered. When we arrived, the hotel informed us that they were not doing housekeeping except for extended stays. Since we were staying 6 days, we were told we could schedule housekeeping *1* day during our stay. We scheduled it and they never showed up. We let the front desk know and were told they would “look into it” but they never sent anyone to clean our room during our stay. We also had an issue with transportation to and from the parks. When we arrived, we found out the buses would be on a (very) limited schedule. We had to reserve a time slot 3 days in advance and only had 3 morning time slots to choose from. We could not take the bus to the park in the afternoon or evening. This was not communicated upfront and we booked this hotel in part because bus transportation was included. We ended up paying for Uber and only took the bus to the park one time. We would have stayed on Disney property had we known the transportation would be so limited, and with the amount of added fees, the price would likely have been the same!
It was ok. I paid for a captivating view and got a view of the highway. I had free parking for being a silver member and should’ve only paid the resort fee of $72 and was charged $121 for some reason. Still waiting on an answer for this and my refund. They said the one store was open for coffee but it wasn’t open when I got there.
Location: The hotel is located in a great area very close to Disney Springs. A few blocks the other way are many restaurants and fast food places. The lobby is gorgeous and immaculate with a little take out place for coffee, light breakfast, and snacks. There is also a sit down restaurant there which we didn’t have a chance to try. Room: our room was on the 10 floor with a nice city view. The room was very clean, along with the linens. We all felt very confident that it had been cleaned and sanitized before our check in. We needed the small sofa bed for a child who was already asleep when we checked in at 11 PM We opened the bed and there were no sheets, looked in closet and none there , so we called and they did deliver to our room. Remember there are no daily cleanings at this time so get your extra towels etc from the desk at check in. It will save you another call to the desk! There were a couple little glitches which were Taken care of promptly. All in all it was a lovely hotel and we would definitely recommend it and will stay there again! *There is a free Disney bus that picks up at different times and will bring you back.
THE RESORT FEES ARE EXTREMELY HIGH AND THE PARKING FEE TOO. But the stay was good room was very clean and the gentleman Luis at the check in he upgraded my room to a suite at no charge. Great Staff! He was extremely awesome! the only thing I wish they would improve is that the glass shower doors of the rooms don’t have a door stop so it gets slammed. This is the second stay at this place and both rooms had the same issue.
The stay was bad but we ended up paying more then expected
