Good 6.0
Its a nice hotel in a great location. Old world elegance with large rooms and very large and comfortable beds. The rooms do not have a kettle or coffee maker or iron, so a bit short on amenities. Unfortunately, the front desk person we dealt with was very rude. Surprising given the other reviews but maybe this was not a regular employee. And he remained rude the entire time not just during check in.

A perfect hotel find in Roma
Overall, It was a gem. The lobby, bar and rooms were beautiful. So very clean. The front desk folks were very helpful in preparing for day trips; ordering taxi's and for suggesting excellent restaurants for dinner. The breakfast room was picture perfect and the service was at top level. They have a cozy bar and the bartender was great. Did not get a chance to experience the outdoor restaurant, but I heard it was grand.

Bedbugs in room 402
Our stay for 4 nights in October started well and the staff was pleasant. The Hotel itself was what we expected for the price range. The huge issue we had is that the room had bed bugs and by the 2nd day there I was covered in bites. I thought They were mosquito bites until we checked behind the buttons in the headboard and found they were infested. Management moved us to another room when we showed them the headboard and bugs there but they insinuated that we brought them with us which was not true at all. The room number was 402 check it carefully with a flashlight when room is dark. Never had this happen to me and I travel all the time for work. We had to trash our suitcases once we got home for fear of bringing them back with us. Thank goodness that did not happen.
