Best hotel in Nice no doubt - PERIOD
Stay at Radisson Blu turned out to be the high point of the trip. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous. And we were fortunate to get an upgrade to business class room facing the sea...location of the hotel and the views were absolutely amazing. Gaetan (concierge) was very helpful and helped with planning and making private reservations!! Overall good value for money. Radisson will be my first choice next time I visit Nice!!

Very Good8.0
Positives: Gorgeous views; nice room; comfortable bed; big bathtub; good water pressure Negatives: Few local dining options; confusing to get to rooftop pool and bar; expensive amenities

Location isn't great and the service needs work
Greeted with a smile when we first arrived! Were offered an upgraded room for a nominal upcharge which we ended up taking (the city side rooms get unbearably hot with the afternoon sun beating in on them - with European A/C units, this was a recipe for disaster!). The rooftop pool is great, but there are definitely not enough chairs up there, so get there early if you want one. Service at the rooftop restaurant and bar was by far the worst we had in all of France - took forever for the bill, and had one punk even give us attitude for approaching him about getting another round. There is a private beach but beware of the 18 to 22 Euro cost associated with reserving a chair... While the view from the rooftop is great, the location is WAY out of the way for most of the decent restaurants, so unless you're dying for a rooftop pool for a decent price, I'd stay away from booking here.

End of the day it is still a Radisson property.
Unlike the images and other reviews lead you to believe it is about as far away from everything Nice without being at the airport. Not even a local restaraunt in reasonable walking distance. The hotel staff always refer you to hotel eateries which are sub par. Besides the view for this price you are better off staying at the inter continental or Hilton properties.

Decent hotel and location, food & drinks expensive
Stay was ok. We stayed on 5th floor and it is not renovated yet, so outdated. Beds were very comfortable. Rest of room was fine. Bathroom had an odd raised floor and tile grout breaking loose. Sea view was very nice and we enjoyed a bottle of wine each night watching the sea. Drinks and food were extremely over priced so it was common to see people sneaking in their own drinks at the pool. Hotel needs to rethink their pricing strategy. Pool was nice, but get there early to claim your chairs. Hotel Location was long walk or bus ride to main area of cafes and shopping. Bus was very easy, but stops at 21:00.
