Fair 4.0
This hotel should be rated 2.5. There are no toilet amenities- just a bar of soap and the room that we got had so many coffee spots on the floor. In the 6 days that we stayed there, I don’t think the floor was ever vacuumed although the bed sheets were changed quite often and they were clean. The door still has some coffee stains on it and the bathroom floor has footsteps on it. In all the days we were there, we had to back to the front desk after a long day out to find out our keys wouldn’t work. Staff were not nice neither. Would never stay in a Novotel hotel again.

More family oriented than advertised.
This hotel is definitely geared more towards families with children as opposed to a business hotel. This is fine, of course, but not what we were expecting or looking for on our honeymoon.

A decent hotel with excellent breakfast. But a bit far to walk to the city center.

Staff could use a tune up.
All good at this hotel. Our only disappointment was how lax some of the service staff were. Two examples are: front desk agent asked if we had a car, gave us the printed directions but neglected to give us the code to retrieve our car. This caused us to head straight back to the desk to get the code which was frustrating after a long, tiring journey. 2) The wait staff in the food area were sitting at a table in the closed section having a chat while people were on the other side waiting for service and to pay for their bill.

My room was set up for two people … one in the sofabed. My grandson couldn't come, so that bed was unused. No desk was a problem, since I need to work on the computer. Made that table work. Low and uncomfortable, but it worked. Breakfast was excellent and staff was responsive to our needs.
