Hotel Indigo Edinburgh, Edinburgh

Modern hotel with a giant comfy bed and a quiet room even though it is right on Queens St and I stayed on a Saturday night. Only stayed a night, but would return and stay longer. The hotel was reasonably priced compared to others in the area, and is a walkable distance to anything around the city center/New Town/Old Town/Royal Mile. The tram stop right outside the front door was what drew my attention since I was flying out the next morning. It is very convenient to get to the aiport via public transit.

Excellent hotel for a night or longer stay
I loved my stay at the Indigo. I was only there for one night, after having traveled around Scotland, and flying home the next day. I sprung for a junior suite - and it was fantastic. The whole style of the room was great, the bed was very comfortable and I loved the bathroom. Lots of room to spread out and just enjoy. I had a drink at the bar, and ordered room service. The food was excellent and prompt. The staff was very helpful and friendly. On my way to the airport the next day, I tried the tram for the first time - it is literally right across the street from the hotel. So convenient! It was a great and inexpensive way to travel to the airport. I would absolutely stay here again. I don't usually stay in this part of Edinburgh but liked it a lot and would try it again the next time I return, which will hopefully be next summer.

Not enough seating in room. Wifi was a BIG issue! They seem to know it was a problem because they asked for a survey about it immediately after our stay. Friendly staff. Good location.
