A no no for soft opening
Soft opening of the hotel. I would suggest not opening it when you can smell the paint everywhere within the hotel. The pass didn't work for a day when I stayed and had to be accompanied by someone for my room to be opened. Chances are, the representative during that night didn't know how to activate or operate a pass when I checked in. You can hear people outside your room when they talked. There's no quiet moment and not a good place to nap in the afternoon. You can do better in the future.
