Unhappy Guest!
Had a 1 night reservation. Arrived ready to shower & go to bed. Was given room card/key. 3rd floor room. Keys wouldn’t work. Went back to desk, rekeyed & sent on my way. Still lugging luggage! Keys don’t work again. Back to front desk. Said would have to wait on maintenance. Asked for a different room. Given a comparable room on 1st floor. Opened door to tv, lights all on. Bed unmade & empty water bottles on nightstand 😤 Back to front desk & was offered a “snack” from chip & candy rack for my being inconvenienced!! WOW!! Go to another room on 3rd floor. Appeared clean etc but room was damp. Turned down AC. Everything in the room had a damp feeling. My bag, purse etc all damp. Slept terrible. Won’t be staying there again!

We enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Very accommodating when we brought an issue to their attention. Loved the breakfasts that were varied and available every day at reasonable times. Pool area was nice. Very pleased with the hand trucks provided to move suitcases in and out. The location was perfect to walk to things we needed. We understood that construction was going on and may have contributed to the funky odor that seemed to linger in our room. And the box of tissues on the sink counter was thoroughly soaked when we checked in and never dried out for the three days we were there. Some of the hot breakfast items could have been warmer and there was more than one occasion where there was no coffee at breakfast time so we had to wait for some more to be brewed. All of that being said, it did exceed my expectations.

Needs a littld work
Checked in but the next morning, they could not find me in the system to check out. The girl that "checked me in" was not friendly at all. The A/C unit in our room was leaking so much the carpet was completely soaked all around the unit and it did not work very well. The plus side, breakfast was very good and was hot. The bed was comfortable and lots of hot water for showers.

This hotel really needs updating. The A/C in the room didn't work properly, shower doors were broken and had mold all along the rails, peeling wallpaper, dirty carpets. Definitely not in good enough shape for the price. I expect more from a Hampton property.

"I had an amazing jacuzzi tub, a comfy bed, beautiful decor in the room, did not use much of the TV due to channel selection but that did not matter much thanks to how much enjoyment I got out of the relaxing bed, friendly staff to talk to in the lobby,& the great breakfast in the morning."
