Good base in Paris
Citadines Opera is a little hard to find the first time. Only a small sign and a small entrance. Once found the staff was friendly and quick. There is a very nice bakery just on the corner a few meters away, perfect start to the day. The Metro is very close and lots of nice resturants in close proximity. We found most places of interest in walking distance, if not, the metro was very close. The room was fine for us, maybe a little tired, but did the job. But some people might object to slight mold in the shower, smoking smell sometimes on the fourth floor. And worst of all a bad sewer smell some times.. They have a scent dispenser on the hallway dispensing a strong vanilla scent that points to an issue. Anyway, this is Paris, we did not expect everything to be perfect, except the food (which was perfect)! So we just solved the smell issue by having the windows open during the day, and closed them in the evening when smoking smell started to waft up. All in all, an expensive hotel for what it is. But I guess you would be hard pressed to find better for a family of four in Paris for a few days.

Poor 2.0
The pictures of the hotel are completely misleading! They were taken the day they had new floors new walls and new furniture. Today this place is not in the same condition and very run down, especially the rooms. The hotel was also under major construction, you could not open your blinds or windows as workers were right in your windowsill. My room smelled like sewage and they could not move me as they were sold out. I was up super late trying to find another hotel. They only gave me a 50% discount just for that night, even the staff thought it would not be safe for me to stay with that smell:( the bathrooms were very dirty I asked them to clean it and it was not cleaned properly, I have so many pictures I showed the manager. The one thing that saved our trip was that the beds were super comfortable.

Exceptional 10.0
Convenient and great floor plans
I travelled with a group of five women ranging in familiarity from 2 sisters to mild acquaintances. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment and a studio. The hotel put our rooms across the hall from each other. The studio was a pleasant surprise since it had 2 levels and 2 toilets. The one bedroom was also well laid out giving everyone plenty of space. There's a metro station right outside the hotel to connect you to everything. The Louvre and Opera are both in walking distance. For those who love to shop, Galleries Lafayette is also in walking distance. There was free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby, a toy mall next door, and a lot of places to eat. Theres a laundry room in the basement. Overall this hotel met and exceeded our needs. It was a great stay.

Good 6.0
1 Bedroom apartment was huge for Paris, seperate living room, bedroom, plus a kitchenette. Mattress was only full size, but extra long and actually quite comfortable. Location was fantastic, near Metro, walking distance to most everything, and a number of places to eat nearby. Room was also very quiet, couldn't hear other units or much of anything from outside. Staff extremely friendly and always helpful. Negatives are that there were little ants in both the bathroom and kitchen areas. Never a horde, but every time we looked we'd always find a handful.....very constant. The very last day/night there was a sewer smell that crept into the room and despite checking all the usual suspects (bathroom toilet, sink/tub drains, fridge, ect) we couldn't isolate the source. Lucky for us we were checking out early the next morning!

Very Good 8.0
Good location close to attractions, transport.
Very well situated for accessing transport to major attractions. On the whole, helpful, polite staff. For the price though I was expecting somewhat higher quality in room presentation, facilities and provisions. Small but useful items like tea towels, a breadboard and dishcloth were not provided, although the first item was supplied later. For a six day stay we were provided with inadequate amounts of toilet paper and supplemented it with our own, then had to ask for more when that ran out. A dishwasher was included, but didn't function. However management compensated for this by offering a room change the day prior to our departure. When we declined, they offered us complimentary breakfast, which was quite fair of them. A little consideration towards guests' privacy wouldn't go astray, as we found staff entered our room with their own key without knocking first on a few occasions. Overall though I would recommend it.
