Embassy Suites Flagstaff, Flagstaff
Nice hotel, has opportunities
I always love the breakfast options at Embassy Suites. When staying with a family, this has the potential to save quite a bit of money on the first meal of every day. This particular location had some stand out service by front desk Alex and bartender Willie. The cook to order cooks were less friendly and personable than I am used to from others in this chain and was a little disappointing. There is room for improvement to the cleanliness in the bathrooms around the baseboards, the coffee table looked like it hadn't been wiped clean in a while, and the area around the mini fridge could use some elbow grease. But the drawers, closet and vanity areas were clean. The seating and beds were comfortable and I appreciated the extra blanket that was in the closet. Overall the room was spacious and comfortable. We did love all the food options near the hotel and throughout Flagstaff in general and we enjoyed walking around the quaint downtown area and visiting some of the local shops.

Great customer service.
Great staff, attentive and professional. Breakfast was amazing and plenty of options. Hotel room a bit dated but clean and comfortable. I would stay here again and highly reccomend this place.

Family vacation, the hotel was great. Breakfast is hectic, so go down early or go down late. Avoid 7:30- 8am time

first night we asked for maintenance for the toilet. No one came. We were suppose to move to smaller room next day, but they fixed the toilet and let us keep the larger room we were in at no extra charge. so thank you

Served it's purpose for a 1 night stay
I was greeted by a nice young gentleman who thanked me for being a rewards member, and presented me with a "welcome bag" of goodies. He said that since our reservation showed that we had children with us, he would upgrade us to a suite that had more space in the living area. I thought that was great! He then said there was a $7 parking fee that I was not aware of. . .that wasn't so great. We got to our room and it was clean and spacious. I then heard a squealing sound, and found it was coming from the HVAC fan in the room. I spoke to the same guy from check-in. He said he could send maintenance to take a look at it. I said that if there was another room available, we could take that one. We went to the new room, and it was almost like stepping into another hotel. There was a large crack on one of the bathroom tiles, the wallpaper was peeling of part of the wall, the faucet looked like it hadn't been wiped down, and the room felt dark and dingy. I didn't want to bother the staff again, but asked if we could have the original room back after the fan was fixed. The maintenance man was able to get the noise to stop, so we returned to the room. All was well until the squealing started back up in the middle of the night, so I had to turn off the air conditioner, which made the room warmer than I would've liked. Breakfast was very good, although the made to order omelet was over cooked a bit. Overall the stay was decent, and the staff was accommodating.
