Wonderful Staff
After a wild taxi ride from the train station to the Bedford Hotel we were greeted by Joachim, the desk clerk, who got us checked in quickly, then patiently answered all our questions about where to find something to eat on a Sunday, showing us on a map the possible areas. The hotel is conveniently located to the main tourist area in Brussels. and Joachim, along with Tona and Jessica were always cordial and ready to help us navigate the city. The breakfast was a wonderful start to our day of exploring the city. The only downside, which may be a big one, is that the central location makes things very noisy a lot of the time. Carts pulled along the cobblestone sidewalks are loud!

Need to improve
Very disappointing for several reasons 1. Had an email in advance of arriving to speed up checking etc… so on arrival you still have to queue 15 minutes with those who haven’t checked in prior online to get your room key! 2. When you check in online they ask for your credit card details to speed up checkout and any incidentals. So at checkout I was asked for my credit card when jnsaidnid already given the details online I was told it’s easier for them to donut in person! What is the point? I’d also paid for the stay in advance on the Hotels website! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME 3. Had to have a room change after arrival as A/C did not work and Wi-Fi was none existent. Had to queue again at reception and not at all helpful asked for a a manger and was told no managers work after 6pm it’s just us receptionist and we do our best. New room was ok Wi-Fi better but not great speak to reception again about Wi-Fi was told it’s because the they have a lot of people staying. 4. Overall room was noisy with water being heard running in other rooms thought the walls Al the time Definitely would not recommend

Loved our stay! Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. Location was great 5 min walk from the Grand Palace and a walkable distance to everything else. Train station about a 10 min drive. If you are visiting Brussels I highly recommend staying here.

Pleasant, but horrible wifi
Comfortable, clean, good location. But, unfortunately, the the wifi was absolutely horrible. Constant disconnects and throttling of bandwidth. If that's not a problem for you, I certainly recommend staying here, but in my case it was a major headache since I had multiple work-related video calls that I was unable to properly make. This feels pretty inexcusable at the price point especially when offering "business rooms".
