Maxhotel, Brussels
Great for a solo traveler
This is a great place to stay for a solo traveler in a very expensive city. The room was small but met my needs perfectly. With that being said, I would have been uncomfortable with so wine else staying in the room. It was definitely too small for 2 people. The hotel was close to public transportation, area toruist attractions and plenty of restaurants.

Too basic a stay
Everything need to pay even for luggage storage. No kettle provided, neither you can buy hot water.

Room was shoddy and there was a very weird smell in the bathroom. No amenities whatsoever. Would not recommend.

2.5 out of 5
This is only a place for me to spend the night when I cannot find another tradition hotel within its price range.

Check-in by terminal? "Next time" I'll be OK
This hotel attempts to cut costs by having NO desk. Well - it really does not work that well. The check-in terminal at the door of the hotel is actually pretty confusing. Funny thing is that if you tap on the door someone comes and helps you!!! So the whole purpose of not having a "desk" seems to be pointless.
