Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco, San Francisco
missed the mark, pricey for what you get
This is an attempt at being swanky, but with very little customer service that makes you feel like you have entered a swanky hotel. No bell service was available.. check in process ok.. super crappy view and room smelled old and dirty. The look is great.. The bathroom looked clean and ready for use. No coffee available until 8 am on a Sunday am.. Zero attempt to help by front desk or even offer suggestions. Valet was super slow and is the only option to get your car.. give 20-30 min everytime.

Love the game room!
Love the game room! Would stay here again the only downside was that they didn’t have a microwave.

All style no substance
Hotel is unique, seemed like a nice place to spend an evening. Front desk guy was awesome. Very hospitable, knowledgeable, and set us up with some drinks. That's where the dream of a pleasant night ended. We got to our room changed had lunch with friends. Came back to the hotel to take advantage of the bar/ game room. Front desk guy told uswe had to check it out. As soon as we stepped foot downstairs our guest and us were treated as if we came crawling in begging for food. We were asked what we were doing there and asked to leave. After explaining we were guest of the hotel we were told ( in no better way) that it was closed for a private event. Now that is understandable but the attitude isn't. My friends decided to leave so we went to our room to find the TV didn't work. Called front desk and 2 hours later here comes maintenance. He seemed to be very busy, I'm sure setting up for this event. Again understandable, but not having to wait 2 hours to have batteries changed and a modem unplugged and plugged back in. Later in the evening we want to the restaurant, over priced food. My girlfriend had ordered rissotto the rice was under cooked and the shrimp was so old it was inedible. Waitress also thought it appropriate to comment on what I ate or didn't eat off my mediocre dish but I digress. We ended the night listening to this private party thri paper thin walls until the early morning. The shower was nice.

decent hotel
The room was SO small- my boyfriend and I were inching around eachother. The shower had nice water pressure though, very hose like. And don't forget there is a fee per day! It is extremely overpriced unfortunetly. Great drinks at the bar though and nice welcome cocktail.
