Just ok
It was ok. There was a lot of construction on the road outside the hotel and it was very confusing trying to enter the parking lot. The hotel smelled like stale smoke. l don't think I would go back.

The facts as I saw them
Starting at the beginning: check in is something I have never seen prior. Nobody behind the counter to check you in. you go to a machine and figure it out for yourself. Same when checking out. Saving them tons of money but taking most people an hour to check in. Not good?? Room is worn but nice. No in room coffee. they have paperwork around the room asking you to try to conserve natural resources. For me it was very hard because I typically take to real short showers each day. The shower was so messed up that it just trickled so each time I had to fill an entire bathtub full to do the same job that 1/10th. of that much water does at my home. The largest complaint I heard from others during my five day stay was the lack of decent food. Harvey's and Harrah's are one in the same connected via a tunnel but neither has a full time coffee shop or anything else that one can rely on to be open each day. they want you to stay up and enjoy the ambiance but that is hard to do when you are starving. Three nice restaurants all open a few short hours each evening so either be there on their schedule or you lose. I was told by several employees that realize that people must eat about a great 24/7 small casino with great food about 100 steps outside of Harrah's door. Since they have any kind of food at any hour of the day try them, Lucky Beaver. Top quality food, a bit pricey but delicious. The story I heard is that the original founder of Home Depot owns this place and wants only the best.

Good value for a basic room
Room was clean and very centrally located. I would probably only give it 2.5 stars because it was really basic. No coffee pot or fridge in the room.

The hotel is dirty in general and the room as well. The staff was friendly. Overall it has the casino feel. Hard Rock Cafe was overpriced and the food was not that great
