Dingy, old, bugs, not worth the money.
Initially checked into this hotel with high hopes. The pool area was open (closes at 10pm with room key access) , when I went to check it out chairs were stacked all over the place there was old and open paint cans located next to the water area. dirt and bugs floating in the water. The lobby wasn't bad, the elevators smelled of must and mold, my (first) room was a smoking room that looked like a 70's motel room with a stale smell of smoke so overbearing I almost got sick. I went back to desk where they swapped my room to a non-smoking room. it had a nice view but old and broken furniture and no desk to set up a laptop. I sat on the couch to watch some news and bugs started to jump all over me!! The carpets are disgustingly dirty. Even the ironing board had stains with a broken iron. The bathroom was just as bad, the toilet seat was broken and worn, the shower had non-slip skidding that was pealing up and mold throughout every crease in shower wall. Never will I stay at this place again. If you are even looking at staying here don't say you haven't been warned! Downtown Augusta is a real nice place I thought with the area and a downtown hotel it would have been kept up. STAY AWAY!

Not worth saving a few bucks
We stayed here for the 70.3 Ironman race, the location was great for swim start and was between the host hotel and transition. But the hotel itself was one of the worst I've been to. Other than ice cold AC and super HOT water it was a major disappointment. No wifi so we couldn't get any work done, house keeping never replaced shampoo, conditioner or soap. Our bathmat had dirty grease stains and only gave 2 clean towels. They also didn't give us new cups or glasses or replace the coffee. No refrigerator either which made life difficult because there are only ice machines on the odd floors and they were always empty, having to go to 4 floors to get a small bucket of ice was ridiculous when a small fridge would have been fine.

I was there on business and had to do a lot of work in the room. The wifi did not work, so it ended up being highly inconvenient.
