Had to request a room change when I was not given a room on the first floor near the front desk as I had requested ( when making the reservation) because of mobility issues. The room I was given (156?) was so far away that I got lost trying to reurn th the front desk. My request for another room (109) was accommodated.

First of all the staff here was without exception phenomenal. Very friendly helpful people, smiles and genuine interest in my wellbeing at the hotel. But we got to our room, sat in the bed, and noticed that the comforter was missing. There was a fitted sheet on the mattress and a flat sheet, then a super thin almost like a n additional sheet, and finally a third sheet of white material. I assume the comforter was in the wash, whatever. Call the desk. She was very nice, but let me know they had no blankets or comforters for us to use. I made sure she knew this is not additional there is literally sheets on the bed and she apologized and told me the delivery had not come in. We slept in our sweaters and jackets. I slept, no shock, very poorly and I’m frankly dumbfounded. How, why and what the heck would a hotel rent a room and bed without proper bedding? The breakfast was great. Again staff honestly the best service I’ve had in a long time. But my experience was uncomfortable and cold and frankly I could have slept in the car more comfortably.

Disappointing Stay
We use to like staying at this hotel, but after this visit we will not be staying again. Overall, our stay was disappointing. First of all, a horrible stench lingered in our room for the 2 days we stayed. The sheets were stained and the pillows were the size of small throw pillows. Lastly, the carpeting in the room and hallways was extremely dirty and in dire need of cleaning. It's too bad because this is a nice area of town to stay at.

the check in lady was very nice i was surprised by the extra 50-dollar deposit that was added to my bill. Was not informed of it when making reservations. hopefully it will be credited to my bill in the 3 to 5 days that the checkout clerk said. the TV in the room did not work the maintenance man Adam had the replace the box He was very nice. the room was clean the bathroom ceiling was cracked and peeling, and the high part of the wall looked like mold spots Room 158 hotel in good location
