Room was nice, good location. The room did have a strange smell to it whenever the windows were left shut for a while, not sure if it was cleaning products or bleach from the drains but once the windows were open fo a few mins it was fine

Affordable and convenient
The location was in easy walking distance of public transportation and a handful of restaurants. Quick tram ride to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Nice and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place.
The Kings Residence was great. Stayed in Prague for three days and was able to get to the city center/old town within 20 minutes or so. Some great restaurants right around the corner from the hotel (Da Antonio and Hillybilly were two I went to). The rooms are clean, the shower was perfect. The breakfast was great as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn't mind a bit of a walk into the city center. WARNING: the hotel is on a hill (you can walk around it).

+ Location: right in the middle of a trendy area, with contemporary art museums/galleries in the area, and lots of lovely independent boutiques, shops, cafes etc as well as good food. Right beside a nice and good value Vietnamese restaurant too. Opposite a small supermarket that opens late. Near all public transport routes + Staff were nice and accommodating. + Room was very clean, bathroom was nice and spacious. Towels and soap provided as well. + Breakfast is simple but nice - No Microwave in the deluxe room (slight inconvenience) - TV had limited channels and in Czech only, despite showing lots of cable channels on the tv guide

The stay was great but we have to validate our room cards everyday which is very inconvenient. The staff couldn’t really speak English so it’s a bit difficult to communicate.

We took 2 rooms for a group of 7 , both rooms smel terrible like septic didn’t have mantiene, barrooms smell so bad that we opened the windows and still couldn’t stand the smell coming gases from the septic I will never book in this hotel when in Prague!

Great stay in Prague
I was travelling with my 15 year old son and the hotel was perfect for us. The air conditioning and the good breakfasts were a bonus. Staff are friendly and location is good. I would go back again.
