Awesome Service and Ambiance
Really great location with a ton of places to eat to choose from! Everyone was so helpful and friendly at the hotel and restaurant, definitely a great place to stay for business. I'd say the bed was way to soft to be comfortable, might work for some people but not us! Also, fantastic bar in the lobby, bartenders make awesome drinks! Please do stay for breakfast and try those AMAZING biscuits!!

Love this hotel
Love this hotel. Chain hotels can be so boring, this is a welcome change. The restaurant downstairs has been packed every night (will eat there soon) and has a great vibe. The hotel upgraded me and I loved the room with its high ceilings and vintage interior. There were a few small glitches, but the staff always sort them out. Will stay here again.

First impression wasn’t great, but Management made a sincere effort to address my concerns. My room was very loud, on the first floor & literally at the back of the restaurant! I was given an option to move (later) but didn’t have time to change rooms. Upon check in, I was given 2 free drink coupons to enjoy at the bar but as it turns out, they are for one specific cocktail & not one of my choice — I only drink wine, which was not an option and the bartender on duty was quite rude about it. Finally, I was offered complimentary breakfast (consolation), which I wasn’t able to utilize. Local area is great (NoMad-Flatiron) and perhaps, it was just an off night for this hotel... Overall, not a very enjoyable hotel experience, especially for the price!

Gorgeous building but you get what you pay for
When we first saw the smallness of the room we were astonished... then I realized this is NYC. This did not help our continued making do with our suitcases and personal comfort. In addition the bed was so soft that both of us ended up with back aches. The bathroom saved the rent with a great shower (which didn’t drain properly ) and the traditional black and white tile. Our conclusion... to get a decent hotel room in NYC you gotta at more than $260 per night.

Beautiful & great location—but service issues
Beautiful hotel with clean, classic/hip style. Perfect location!! Roomy for NY, with a great terrace, 2 comfortable queen beds and clean, white bedding. Overall room clean, although they obviously didn’t clean the floors given our little ones spilled some Nerds candy that was still there when we came back to our room at night. Disappointed in amenities and service though—we were given only one small, flimsy plastic cup. No glasses of any kind available in the entire hotel, so we could not order wine at the bar downstairs and bring up to our room. (They said this is because people had stolen the glasses in the past.) Also, water bottles only offered the first day—so after that you have to go fill them up from a source on every other floor. But, the maids threw our empty bottles away—so I had to beg for more. They were reluctant to give me more. Almost had to go out to the drugstore that might to get water—and they finally agreed to give us some. (Suggestions: Offer additional water for purchase. Offer wine glasses in room, and clearly note that if they are taken that the guest will be charged.) Other than this, great!
