Good, but room for improvement
The hotel is under construction, so a lot of damage and tools lying around. The room was nice. The toilet looked like they never cleaned it out from the construction dust stuck inside the bowl after they installed it. They had no water in the fitness center. The food was good. The location was great. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. There was a lack of drinking water available, from both the fitness room and from the breakfast drink station.

Great Hotel even working through remodeling
I was expecting a hectic check in on New Years Eve but the check in staff was cheery and friendly. They are remodeling the building but are definitely trying to make it as comfortable and convenient as possible. We didn’t eat the continental breakfast but they did have coffee and snacks out in the lobby during check in which was nice.

I paid a higher than usual price for a lower than usual quality of room. There was a paper shade stapled over my window. Measurement labels on furniture next to the walls, loose unfastened wood trim capping furniture and a deep depression in the floor under the carpet that posed a significant trip hazard. At check-in, the front desk did not have enough electronic keys to give me two for me and my guest. I have photos of the shoddy conditions.

Giant night light
The window pleated shade was previously broken but instead of replacing it, the shade was hung up using clips. It did not block any of the outside light from the room. It was like having a 4’x6’ night light.

Very nice place that has upcoming renovation plans. Breakfast was very nice and stayed open until 10am; extra nice workout room with weights, weight machine, treadmills, recumbent bike, elyptical, all with their own and working TV. Complimentary housekeeping upon request, otherwise there is none, mini fridge, nice TV, and room size was very adequate. AC was pretty loud, but certainly cooled well. We would return to this property. Very friendly employees.
