    A Unit Unto Itself
As some have previously noted, the rooms are small and the appointments feel a little dated although I believe the hotel has only recently been renovated. For some odd reason, tobacco-stain yellow (not an official color name, I'm sure) was chosen for the wall coloring. Maybe they anticipate years of smoking (I stayed in a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor) or use making this room take on a yellow hue, but choosing it from the start seems a strange idea. The small size and the color scheme made this room feel a little close. The Wi-Fi was intermittent. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great and had plenty of options to choose from for a Japanese, Western, or fusion breakfast. The hotel complex is a completely functional self-contained community unto itself with shops, restaurants, game center (bowling alley!), and even movie theaters (IMAX included). There is not much really in Shinagawa but the location is close to Shinagawa Station and makes getting around Tokyo or to and from Haneda airport very convenient. I'd recommend it for a night or two on ones way into Japan or on ones way out, but more than a day or two and I'd recommend somewhere with a little more legroom. That being said, the hotel complex provides onsite just about any service that a traveler could desire. Overall: B/B+; The hotel 2 Stars; The Shinagawa Prince community: 3 Stars.

    Good Choice.
I stay here several times a year. Is very convenient area for people who does business around Shinagawa Station and also the Narita express station is here too.

All good, however pool is extra money
Too bad the swimming costs extra money...that was big disappointment

More of a family than business hotel
The complex is a little overwhelming but the service was excellent. The concierge helped me track down and retrieve something I left of the shuttle from Narita. This is more of a family and general population hotel. Ok for business but not great.
