Habitat Suites, Austin
Exceptional10.0
Loved it!
We just happened to find Habitat Suites online w no idea of what it was. We loved everything about it: the luxurious greenery everywhere, the pool area, the breakfast, the managers wine and beer gathering, the rooms with kitchen, living room and separate bedroom and the overall commitment to being "green". I wish there were more of these in every state not just 1in Texas. This was a real find and very reasonable!!

Exceptional10.0
Very nice hotel and easy to find location. Hotel and the room were pleasant/quiet and the front desk staff were friendly for an Austin hotel. The grounds were very nicely lanscaped. Here’s a few probs: The rooms were dated-refig/fixtures/bathroom etc. The rack was about to about to fall off the wall. The room was clean but guess what No Hot Water! I called but we were leaving anyway. The hotel stresses a free breakfast and it was. However, there was too few tables, chairs, etc for all the guests (pretty chilly out so eating outside wasnt an option), a 20-30 minute wait for BTO egg dishes, which are served to you if you have the patience. Many people just left. BTW, the coffee was weak, a definite NoNo in austin or anywhere. Also be very careful go up and down the stairs-they are steep, deceptive and dangerous, esp after a brewski or two. Overall the stay was pleasant and we’ll consider returning this hotel.

Loud Club = No Sleep
Unfortunately there was a club right next to the property that played ridiculously loud music until 3am. So loud in fact that it felt like I was there.
