Very disappointing - avoid
I was extremely disappointed by the lack of adequate cleaning of the room. We stayed for 5 days. We had champagne in the room 1st night and the empty ice bucket and glasses are still here 5 days later. The complimentary tea/coffee etc were NEVER refilled and each day we had to go back downstairs to request. Cleaning materials where left in the room. Shower gel in bathroom just left with broken top at the side of it. Coffee machine not emptied. Rose petals thrown off the bed and never cleaned up until I asked. Room service for breakfast is difficult and there is no mini bar as stated in your room description. Also the bar wasn’t open and just chairs piled up in front of it. Overall a very disappointing stay and would not stay again. I feel that the culture of the staff is poor and most look quite miserable. Given bottle of water in room but bottle opener broken so again had to request it be replaced. I think this hotel is living on its previous reputation. However Pamela, Enrico and an older gentleman (I’m sorry I cannot remember your name) always tried their best and did give good service.Lastly we arranged an extended check out by 1 hour the night prior to departure to 12pm. At 11.30 reception rang asking what time we were leavin, no problem with the phone call. However within 5 mins of the call the room door was flung open by cleaners. No knock and despite having “do not disturb” card hanging outside. I was caught in an embarrassing position changing my stoma bag.

Perfect hotel for a trip to Paris
The location of this hotel is exceptional. Lovely area and only footsteps from the metro. The hotel itself has lovely rooms, we stayed in a city view room and it was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location
Great location. Felt safe. The front desk was very helpful. Gave us great suggestions. Lots of local shops to get food and drinks. Close to several things. Rooms are clean and balcony was nice. Great to drink your morning coffee and people watch. Would stay here again.
