It was a vacation from hell. We couldn't use our oceanfront balcony because the balcony roof was leaking. We were on the 4th floor, the balcony floor was slippery so didn't go to the balcony even though we were looking forward to using our oceanfront balcony. I brought it front desk's attention and they said the property was sold out and they couldn't do anything about it. Yes, the property was fully booked and one elevator was working. It was taking so much time to go up and down, most of the time we were using stairs. I am a 65-year-old man with back pain and my wife is 55 with a knee problem, For us climbing to the 4th floor was very difficult.
On 9/4 our room wasn't clean until 7.30 pm, even though I made multiple requests. We didn't have clean towels and we couldn't take a shower until we bought some towels. At 6.30 pm when I asked the front desk again why my room wasn't clean they were very rude, the front desk lady said if I don't like it here I can leave.
The last couple of days were very painful and I will take every legal action available to me including I will ask American Express to charge back Hotel.com.
Hampton Inn ruined our vacation.
