The room was out dated and dirty. There was mold on the ceiling. It just wasn't a very comforting stay.

First night in Seattle
Choose this hotel cause close to Light Rail and train station. We were able to walk to both locations. Room very outdated. Could note close the curtains and street light shone in. Tiny bathroom and outdated. Remember, Seattle has hills and this hotel is located in the middle of a high hill.

Yuck.
The hotel was horrible, and I would never recommend anyone staying there - way overpriced. The area is amazing and the location of the hotel is perfectly walkable, but that is it's ONLY redeemable quality.Without the amazing location,I would honestly be foaming at the mouth for a refund. The hotel is THAT disgusting. Urine in the stairwells and literally looks like The Shining. The elevator doesn't work, so prepare to climb 1,000 flights of stairs. Prepare for the litany of smells and stains you will see. Prepare for a bed that feels like a slab of concrete with some blankets and torn sheets from the 70s. Don't bring your children here, the very high open windows do not have screens. We were checked in over 45 minutes late, even though we dropped off our luggage very early in the morning and they knew we were waiting for the room. I can't emphasize enough how bad this place was apart from its walkability. Ugh. We literally quarantined our belongings and selves from our apartment to clean off in case we had bed bugs from this place.

The building does not have climate control, not even fans or screens (unsafe). My room was switched the second night as the first room had a non-draining shower that they couldn't be bothered to fix. The elevator is indeed terribly loud, there is no restaurant/bar/lounge within the hotel as the listing suggests. There is no cable, just 3.5 scratchy channels with a pop up every few minutes about service being cancelled. When the reviews say zero amenities, believe them. The front desk staff were pleasant enough and the location is perfect, so that is the one positive. It's unfortunate that what could be a beautiful historic property is so neglected.
