ibis Budapest Aero, Budapest
Great Value for travelers focused on city not room
It was a great mid-price hotel. In my experience the Aero hotels are focused on people who aren’t focused so much on their room as much as they are the city they’re in. I needed a comfortable, clean, safe room, which is exactly what I got, plus a balcony. I’d almost call my room comfortable utilitarian. They’ve done away with a bunch of the extras you’ll find in the hotels where people want to stay in them a fair amount as part of their trip. There’s no lotion and mini soap (liquid soap on the sink and in the shower,) no washcloths (though plenty of towels,) no room service (but a restaurant in the lobby where you can call in your order and bring it up to your room,) no folding suitcase (instead a great little bench near the door that works great,) and no alarm clock (who needs one anyway - my iPhone has replaced my alarm clock at home too.) I spent most of my time away from this room. I had business in Budapest and then spent the rest of my time in the streets exploring that wonderful city. And my room was great to come back to. My only complaint is that there are insufficient outlets to charge my electronics. I only found one tucked under the desk. But other than that, this room was exactly what I needed and at a great price for what I got. The only other thing to mention are the great front desk folk who were informative, helpful, and unfailingly friendly.

Very Good8.0
Convenient, comfortable and remodeled
Great, convenient location, fairly close to the airport. We have stayed here many times and will most likely do so again!

middle quality hotel
Completely middle quality hotel. Just to stay for one night before you leave for airport. If no jams the road to airport takes about 20 minutes by taxi for about 15 Euros.

Easy access to the airport
Simple and clean; nothing flashy; the outside looked less appealing than the room inside; served my purpose by being close to the airport for an early flight. The 200E bus took me directly to BUD for a 6:00 AM departure.

Very Good Ibis, from outside the building does not seems to be nice, but when you enter the lobby you are warmly welcomed by the staff. Each room has a balcony. Close to the metro station and 45 minutes by public transport from the airport (bus + metro)
