Best breakfast ever! Really nice hotel staff.
We loved it here! Really nice hotel staff. We were given a room with great views of the city and everybody treated us with respect. It was my husband's birthday when we checked in so they gave us complimentary glasses of wine. Didn't expect that. Breakfast was delizioso! Everything was organized. Probably the best breakfast I had in Italy. The hotel seems like an old hotel, but we like it because it's different and very clean. It is also very convenient--located right across the Milano Centrale station. We can see the train station from our room. There's no wifi in the room, but it wasn't a big deal for me because we only stayed for the night.

Normally good, recent disappointment, may return
I have stayed in this hotel a few times over the last year. The hotel is pleasant and very handy to the Centrale station. I was happy with the hotel and service during my previous all of my visits to the Michleangelo, which is why I not only returned to the hotel but also recommended the hotel to numorous colleagues. My most recent stay was a bit disappointing. The breakfast coffee service is not great but I know what to expect. There were three issues with my room during my recent stay. 1) I was not able to close one of the room windows. With closed Windows, the street noise is not bad but with an open window, the close-by night life kept me awake until 2a.m. This was on my last night in the hotel and I did not discover the issue until around midnight so the hotel was only informed in the morning. 2). A personal wine glass was removed from my room. The glass looked nothing like the glasses wine is served in the hotel bar. 3). The morning of my check-out I discovered that all of my bath towels and bath mat were not replaced during the previous day's room service. Therefore, I showered with a small hand towel. I will be in Milan for approximately 30 nights over the next few months. I plan To try a different hotel for my next stay. That saying, I would not really le out staying in the Michleangelo during one of my future visits to Milan.

Nice stay across the Milano Centrale Train Station
The hotel is nicely located for weary travelers, as it is across the street from the Milano Centrale Train Station. The roads are well paved for smooth luggage transportation. The rooms were decently sized with free bottled water, sodas and snacks which was a nice surprise. The wifi was decent and overall a very pleasant stay. They also allowed us to check out one hour later which was fantastic.

visit to milan
We came to Milan on a train and we were totally happy that we could walk to the hotel in about 3 minutes from the main train station in Milan. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist us in finding places we were looking for. The room was very comfortable and the view of the city from the window. Would stay at this hotel in the future.
