Weekend in Rome
Stayed at the Hotel Quirinale over the weekend of a two week business trip. The location is convenient to the train station, historical attractions and plenty of restaurants and shopping. I found the room comfortable and only wished my wife was there with me! Good wifi connection and good breakfast buffet. Only negative was a limited number of electrical outlets in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Older hotel with charm. Unfortunately we were placed in a room that had renovations going on in two rooms on either side. Although they didn't start work until 7;30, it was a little annoying until we got over jet lag.Generally, hotel was in good shape with worn carpeting.

Our "home away from home" in Rome
My wife and I have stay in Quirinale 4X during the last 10 years: it is our "go-to" hotel when we visit room. There is little doubt that, if we ever return to Rome (we live in the USA), we will again stay at Qurinale. We love the old world charm and ambiance of the hotel. It is located only a few minutes walk from Rome Termini train station, has a metro stop nearby, and is within easy walking distance of most of Rome's major tourist sites. Management appears to work very hard in maintaining the charm and atmosphere of the hotel: during the 19th century, it was likely one of the most elegant hotels in Rome with a direct connection to the Opera. It still has: old creaky, likely original wooden floors, high ceilings, and 19th century furniture (smaller than modern furniture). Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms have been modernized to a degree and are fine. If you are looking for a modern, sleek hotel, Quirinale is not for you. If you are looking for a different experience, it is for you. That being said, at times the hotel appears a bit faded: worn carpets in the hallways, faded drapes, sometimes spotty internet, and a breakfast staff that often seems a bit overwhelmed (though the outside breakfast garden is one of my favorite places). But, we love the place. There is a pretty good restaurant, Esperia, around the corner. The best recommendation I can give is that there is no doubt that, if we return to Rome, we will not even look for another hotel. Quirinale is special place.

Worst Hotel I've ever stayed at.
This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel, staff very rude, hotel needs a to be demolished. We were originally given room 237 which in any other hotel would not be up to the standard to be rented out, we complained and we're switched to Room 503, this one was better. Overall the hotel needs to be remodeled, the service in the limited breakfast restaurant is non existent. Would not recommend this hotel. Stay at the Artimide next door.
