Never Again
It was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever been to. I felt like I was at a haunted house. The carpet was dingy and the smoke detector was hanging out the ceiling. Don’t go here if you’re trying to have a peaceful relaxing stay. You could hear people yelling and partying all night. They said nobody would come into our room until we left because of the corona virus and a maid walked right in on me and my boyfriend while we were sleeping! I was suppose to stay for 3 days because of the 4th of July holiday but I end up leaving the next day because I couldn’t do it anymore! Don’t stay here!

Exceptional 10.0
Congress Hotel is Veteran-friendly
I have been going to the Congress Hotel for the past five or six years on 4th of July... They remember me every year and they always put me on the floor that is high up usually the 11 10th or 13th floor... They understand that I do not do well with the fireworks but they understand that I do want to see them... just not the pops and bangs and every single year they accommodate me and my stay is Fantastical... Thank you Congress Hotel and staff your work and kindness towards this veteran is greatly appreciated

Handle on toilet hard to push & then would stick Hand rail in tub rusted. Bathroom door needs repairs. Housekeeping knocked on door. We said leaving soon. When we got back to hotel at 11:30 pm no one had come back & no clean towels Many areas smell when we walked through

Great Hotel
It was pleasing as usual. It would have just been a little better if there were Clorox disinfectant wipes and Lysol spray. That way you can a sure your room is extra clean. During this time of the pandemic. Other then that great stay as usual.

Long hair no beuno
I usually love the Congress but this time it wasn’t as clean as expected. Small things tho; ashes on carpet near bed and also I went for a dry towel and there was a very long hair attached

Nothing fancy
If you ask me it's really just an average hotel... That's far from fancy, the hotel could really use some updating... It's looks as if you've walked into another era, like the 1950's. The bathroom is really small, only a child could fit in the bathtub... However, I do have to give credit with the place being really clean.
