    Acceptable accommodations, as expected
This is an acceptable hotel - the suites are essentially adjoining rooms with the door between them partially removed (one side). Thus there are two bathrooms (yay!) but one room is a "sitting room" with a pull-out couch, the other has two queens (boo!). I would have preferred one king bed in one room and a chair, then the couch and queen bed in the other room. In that configuration, my wife and I could have had more privacy from the kids. We discovered two days in that one of our doors didn't actually lock at all; the strikeplate was incorrect for the door lock, and it was easily pushed open. The hotel fixed this promptly, and we were able to deadbolt / internally lock the door on that room to prevent access, but it was unnerving. Housekeeping never replaced the ice bucket plastic liner, even when left out visibly for them to do so. Breakfast had a nice variety of options, although the bacon was severely overcooked when it was on the menu, crumbling into shards. We didn't use the pool, but it looked like a decent way to cool off and be wet. Location couldn't be better, convenient to sightseeing, grocery stores gas stations, and walking distance from several restaurants (with discounts) as well as next door to Chick-Fil-A. Staff was very helpful in all issues and accommodated us when we extended our stay a day. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, however - my arms kept falling asleep as I sleep on my side. Wi-Fi was all but unusable. I ended up using my phone hotspot.

    CLEAN!
Even though the rooms are very outdated, our room was very clean! Breakfast was great for my family, but it was all carbs and sugar. It'd be nice to have some meats. Good atmosphere and nice to have the morning news playing! :-)

    Friendly staff and great area.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that the beds weren’t comfortable for 2 people. Too soggy in the middle and our air conditioner didn’t work great.

    Memorial Day weekend
Although the property and furnishings are dated, the rooms were very clean and and nicely maintained. The receptionist was very nice and professional and let us check in a little early. My family and I would definitely stay here again!
