Fabulous 8.8 From 1,101 reviews

Very Good 8.0
Kind of quirky, very comfortable.
Attractive property in good, less-touristy area of city. Eminently walkable to all the tourist locations. We stayed in a very spacious duplex room with a second floor bedroom loft. The decor of the hotel is a little goofy with a medieval theme and really non of the sleek, Danish design that is casually found so many other places in the city. The furnishings and design are just a bit dated. Also, the hotel is a combination of several adjacent buildings so there are stairs everywhere where you need to lug your bags up and down--strange they haven't figured out a workaround for this. We were a little early and told our room was not ready even though the people ahead of us and behind us in check in were able to get in early. A little off putting, but there are restaurants and bars all around the hotel where we killed some time. A complimentary drink would have gone a long way to salving bruised egos.

First Time in Copenhagen
The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We never met anyone that did not speak English fluently. Free drinks for cozy hour is a nice touch. We met several other guests and had good conversations with them.

Exceptional 10.0
Great vacation location.
We booked a Baltic Cruise and stayed at Hotel Kong Arthur three days prior to the cruise. It was centrally located and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are typical European size but at check in, they automatically upgraded us to a larger room. We had a great experience at this hotel.
