About Starhotels Metropole, Rome

Comfy, modern hotel near Rome Termini

Termini: 5 minutes
The 4-star Starhotels Metropole places you in the Quirinale district of Rome, a 5-minute walk from Termini Station. From here, it's a 10-minute ride on the metro to the Spanish Steps or Trevi Fountain. An extensive network of buses and trains also radiate out from here.

Stroll through the park
If you've got good walking shoes, you can wander through Colle Oppio park to the Colosseum, 1.5 km away. Love art more than ancient ruins? Stroll 2 km north to Galleria Borghese and its expansive gardens, to see works by Caravaggio, Titian, and Raphael.

Scrumptious dining
Guests rave about the breakfast buffet at the restaurant, Apicio, which also serves traditional Roman dinners. You can curl up with your laptop in the cozy bar – there's free WiFi in public areas – and grab a snack and drink. Over-indulge? The fitness room is open 24-7.

Great hotel.
Wow. This was a great experience and I love this hotel. The only little complaint I would have is with the water pressure for the shower. However, the staff was so helpful. I am good to stay again with them at the end of my trip.

Location
I stayed in this hotel before. Comparing with previous stay, the variety for breakfast choice is limited. Even have to pay for fried eggs if requested. Food in Cafe restaurant is quite nice. Can try.

Convenient to Termini and Clean
Was very happy with the room and customer service of the hotel. The room had a large bed, fridge, and most importantly was very clean. We had a late flight and were able to leave our luggage at the hotel to take advantage of our last afternoon in Rome. Front desk was also helpful in ordering a private car to the airport. Great place to stay by Termini Station.

Poor value for the money we paid.
Hi, the hotel is 4 star hotel, but it doesn’t look like. The photos are better than the dirty and very old room. The walls are dirty, lots of spots on floor carpet. The check in was pretty long which is already a bit outdated in modern world ( i know it cause i am traveling all over the world staying in lots of hotels). Overall very poor value for the money we paid.
