    Friendly staff, everyone willing to go above and beyond to help out. I am a Hurricane Ida refugee. I was very pleased with how I was treated. However, the TV on demand did not work, and the shower valve was in disrepair giving me scalding water or freezing water.

    Horrible and dirty rooms and poor customer service

    Booked the rooms due to hurricane Ida was supposed to check in on Saturday but because everyone was evacuating traffic was bumper to bumper so a normal drive would be 5 hours turn into 17 hours we wasn’t able to check in until Sunday upon arrival they had booked our rooms to someone else and we had to wait for other guests to check out the room we received was a single bed room wasn’t clean people support was horrible and the water in the room was cold did not have hot water the only reason I booked with this hotel because of the ratings I was told they are no longer own by Hilton hotels very disappointed I would not recommend this hotel and they refused to give me a credit for the Saturday booking even though we arrive on Sunday

    Brandon checked us in during a busy time at front desk. He was very accommodating. I hope his supervisor recognizes the good customer service he provides. The view from our room was great. I always stayed at Doubletrees from 1982 until the last few years. Favor Hilton's now. The lobby and furnishings were nice as to be expected. It was cool in the room. We had what we needed. The room would be fine if they cleaned or painted the bathroom door, shelf and ceiling. It was not awful...and didn't really interfere with my stay.

    Beware of lack of parking and expensive extra fees

    No parking available in the area! Room price does NOT include parking. Basically, once you book a room you are on the hook for additional tens of dollars in their parking fees. In Texas! Beyond ridiculous! Will never stay there again and will not recommend to anyone for this reason. The hotel is clean and decent.

    Nightmare Parking

    The parking was terrible. Valet parking was booked. No one could direct us where to park. One of the valet personal told us to go to self parking and find an elevator to get to the Lobby. When we finally parked. We ended up parking on the wrong place. Then we found an elevator and turn out it was a serves elevator for the Greenway Plaza. Got stranded in the elevator and couldn't get a hold of the lobby directly. The whole situation was bad. When we finally arrived at the lobby. They could careless when I explained what happen to us. Never again will I stay at a Double Tree.
