About Hotel Barocco, Rome

Boutique hotel with room service off Via Veneto

A Roman heart
Renovated in 2017, the boutique Hotel Barocco gives you an elegant base in the heart of Old Rome, a 7-minute walk from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. With Barberini–Fontana di Trevi Metro Station right outside, you'll have the whole city on your doorstep.

Historic meets modern
Nearby attractions span the centuries, from Caravaggio and Tintoretto paintings at the National Gallery of Ancient Art, to Armani and Prada on Via Veneto. Both are steps away from the hotel.

Service with a smile
You can look forward to starting your day with a continental breakfast and a morning newspaper. Relax and check your emails over afternoon tea in the bar, thanks to free WiFi throughout. The barman is quite a wiz with cocktails, and the staff get top marks from guests for their helpful but discreet service.

Thoughtful touches
Softly lit, classically decorated guestrooms get the details right with memory foam mattresses, minibars, and marble bathrooms with bathrobes. Some guests are surprised to find a bowl of fresh fruit in their room – one of many thoughtful details.

Solid choice in great location
To judge this hotel, you have to put it in perspective. For a small, boutique, non-chain, European city hotel, it is excellent. The rooms are large and clean. The bed is big and comfortable. the showers are strong and the bathroom is well equipped. The staff is also top notch. Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Best of all is the location. It is so easy to walk to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps, even the Colosseum. The actual entrance is not on the square, but around the corner on a small side street. It is a strange old building with meandering staircases and small halls. But they have done well with the space.

Quiet on the weekends, clean, convenient location
There was some construction next door so it was noisy on the weekdays I think the morning, but that should hopefully be complete by summer/fall 2019. Other than that the location was quiet and not far at all from the Spanish Steps. I would stay here again absolutely! Bed was very comfortable. Room is small but manageble.

Small treasure!
Tycked away on a tiny side street off of a bustling Piazza this was a real find. Exceptional location, staff, room, bar and remarkably generous breakfast restaurant in beautiful dining area.
