Beautiful hotel, good service, pool needs cleaning
Overall my family loved it!! Our room was clean and elegant with plenty of space for us. The little girls enjoyed the glass elevators and the pool! I thought the pool and hot tub smelled a little off and looked dirty. There were little brown things in the hot tub. Because one daughter has leukemia, a germ free environment is extra important for us. The breakfast looked impressive but the pancakes tasted like they had been fried in expired shortening and the coffee wasn’t very good. The staff working at breakfast were all wonderful. They were quick to restock things and get sugar free syrup for my other daughter. They were also kind. Overall, I think we would go back again. I will probably just call ahead and assess the pool situation before promising my kids a swim in the pool.

Pleased with a few minor issues
The hotel is one of the more expensive options in the immediate area. It was a pleasant stay with some exceptions. When we got into the room there was a used washcloth still in the bathroom and it may have just been the bedding type but it appeared that the bedding was just remade rather than switched. We spent a large amount of time in the indoor pool which is a very nice size for a hotel pool but there were no towels and the space was dirty with bits of hair throughout ( i think it may have been from a single weave). The pool design has raised drain guards that are easy to stub your toe on (both me and my wife do this while chasing after the kiddos). We ate in the lounge and the food and staff were excellent. Breakfast was nice but closing at 9 seems a little early to me. Overall i was very happy with my stay. i have paid a lot more to end up with a lot less.

Parties of 12 kids should not be allowed
We loved the hotel, our suite, the suite, the breakfast and appetizers. This was all fabulous and our first night, Friday was outstanding. However, on Saturday, the hotel allowed multiple guests have parties of children there. We could not use the pool or spa as it both were filled with over 40 kids (we counted.) We heard one say he just peed in the pool, yuk! And they did not have adults supervising them. So, for paying $400 for two nights, we could not use the pool or spa for half our stay. This was extremely disappointing to my children. The hotel allowing many groups to have 10-12 kids per suite and not require wristbands for the pool was unfair to us. I think we should be credited for this.

Hold on to your saddles. Its a crazy ride!
So here is the real scoop! The good: Good amenities, nice gym, and decent cooked to order breakfast. The Bad, and its real bad! There is ZERO control over the guests and their "friends" MANY people rent a room and bring several kids and friends. I would say 30 to 40% of the guests had 8 or more people in their rooms. And they "Run Wild" all over the place they overwhelm the pool and hot tub area, and its a hot tub only. They removed the jets so you're just sitting in hot water. Then breakfast comes and its the same thing. Kids running everywhere, grabbing food, screaming and yelling looking for the one guardian who brought their 10 friends to eat. The workers are in on it too. I watched an employee call her friend as it was happy hour to come and have drinks as they are free for 2 hours! If you're looking for a nice place to relax this isn't the place. If your looking to party on the weekends with a billion extra people. This is the place you're looking for! It's sad for a place that is this nice. There were so many people complaining in the mornings and leaving that I didn't even want to wait to see a manager to compensate me for my lack luster stay. Hope this helps.
