The Cavendish London, London
Good6.0
All the way from Winnipeg
Construction just outside my window noisy and interrupted a good sleep-in after a 15 hour flight. Somehow the request made at 5:00 for a taxi at 6:00 got lost??? Almost missed a play I had been looking forward to seeing for over a year. But the concierge desk was extra specially helpful next morning when we had a train to catch and no taxis at all could make it down our street. Walked me and my luggage to the station!!!

Better Than Expected!
Our stay at the Cavendish was better than expected. Everything exceeded our expectations. The location was phenomenal. Having never been to London before and not knowing what location would be the best, this served to be an excellent location. We were able to walk to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Parliament and the London Eye. It just so happened that this hotel is directly across the street from Fortnum & Mason which is where the Queen buys her tea. This store was a treat to visit and if you book ahead, you can have high tea there. We didn’t have that knowledge prior, so we had high tea at the Cavendish and loved every minute of it. We also loved how close this hotel was to the Green Park underground station which took us everywhere else in the city, including the airport. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Haughty Taughty
Comfortable posh hotel in Mayfair. Close to Hyde Park and Piccadily Circus. Area a bit too posh for my taste, and noisy.
