Mixed.
Upon arrival at about half past mignight we were tired and ready to go straight to bed, but found that our room was not made up - we booked a family room and the sofa bed wasn't prepared - still a sofa, no sheets provided etc. They moved us quickly to a different room that was prepared, so not a big deal, but a hassle. They did say sorry verbally but offered no formal apology. As were there for 2 nights I thought a free drink or a few quid off breakfast would have been nice.
The good:
The room was comfy and spotless, the breakfast was nice and the staff seemed friendly and helpful.
The less good:
The pool closed at 9 with the hot tub, sauna and steam room all going off at 8, which was dissapointing.
The bar was a total rip-off. I get drinks prices are high these days but this place is just having a laugh.
Lastly, I was surprised to find a £5 per day parking charge which was thankfully waived because I was an IHG rewards member.
