Very Good 8.0
Nice hotel, no more
The room is too small. There is no landary machines in the hotel. They change the badding once at three days.

Good 6.0
Decent hotel with terribly uncomfortable bed
This is a decent hotel. The pluses are that it is clean, modern and located in the middle of Shinjuku so you're close to restaurants, entertainment and the train. The negatives are that there is no service other than the front desk receptionists (no room service or any other features you normally get in a modern hotel). The rooms are super small and trust me know that most rooms in Japan are small I mean, for what you're paying, the rooms are SMALL. I stayed at 3 hotels during my vaca in multiple prefectures of Japan and this was by far the only uncomfortably small room. Another issue I had is that the bed and pillows are insanely uncomfortable. Its like sleeping on a thin mat on the floor. The bed I can work through but the pillows were irrationally stiff. To the point where I ended up folding the comforter and using it as a pillow. Mind you it doesn't take much to make me comfortable but you can tell this hotel couldn't care less about guest comfort.

Good 6.0
Good location, tiny rooms
The rooms were tiny, which is a given in Japan, but these were so small that the hotel tells you to put your luggage under the bed if you want your room cleaned. So small that my husband could barely walk by each other. There is no roof and very loud construction that starts at 8am. Comfy bed. Nice location, close to all the Shinjuku delights.

Exceptional 10.0
APA Hotel was great and the people were very friendly. The staff communicated with us very effectively even though there was a language barrier. I look forward to staying at an APA hotel on our next visit to Japan.
Javier, us10 night trip
Fair 4.0
Clean, new but too small rooms
The room is too small. No place to put the luggage except under the bad, that is why the bed is raised. Otherwise it is newish, clean, confortable. The area of Shinjuki it is in is also debatable, a bit seedy compared to closer to the station area. Mainly love hotels around. I would not return there.
