      Disappointed...

It was just OK. No make up mirror in bathroom and very poor lighting. They only service the rooms every 3 days. I am fine having the same sheets, but I do like fresh towels and the room tidied, trash removed etc.(especially since they only have two tiny trash cans) A $30 fee for wifi? And you get a free soft drink or water in their "happy hour." Honestly, much better hotels out there! Also no dining on sight...

      Heathman

First time staying at the Heathman for a "in town getaway" for our anniversary. Glad we stayed here. It was really nice. They gave us a free bottle of champagne for our anniversary. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet, except when there were people passing in the hall, so slept well. French press and coffee provided. Huge tv screen. Great location and within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. The only complaint I have is that they only had cable with 40 channels. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

      second time around

I know it is covid times but I felt the charges for extras were very high with very little offered. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We really appreciated the locked elevator. The insulation is great - very very quiet in our room.

      Amazing Hotel, staff and location!

Front desk staff and Valet were amazing. Very inviting and welcoming feel. The sitting area is relaxing. The hotel had a comfortable home feeling. My fiance and I loves this hotel and will stay here everytime we visit Portland. P.s. we were on a 7 day road trip, 2 days in Portland to see the Twilight filming lications.

The Heathman Hotel/Portland is the best.

We were in Portland for a casual weekend and stayed at the historic Heathman hotel. The hotel is located in the cultural district of downtown Portland adjacent to the Arlene Schnitzer auditorium. The staff is really hospitable and friendly. They made check-in very quick and easy. The hotel lobby is beautiful. It has a spacious area for relaxing which includes a amazing library wall stacked with books up to its 30-foot ceiling! It also has a cozy burning fireplace. Other amenities include; complimentary wine and beer most evenings, $5 daily credit towards any item from there lobby snack bar, complimentary coffee service in the lobby, full art galley on the mezzanine, a great gym including complimentary towels, cardio and weight equipment, and a mirror workout system! The hotel provides meeting and banquet facilities as well. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and even include cool wall art, books and Johnathan Adler spa toiletries! Most importantly, the hotel manager Bryan, made my stay very welcoming. He is the epitome of class. He greeted me by my last name, and accommodate all of my requests. If you want to stay at hotel that provides legendary service, go to The Heathman next time that you’re in Portland.
