Hotel did not honor agreement with $100.00 credit for lower booking rate after saying they didn’t price mate. Room service did not bring Ice when requested all item were not returned after housekeeping- dirty room

The overall experience was nice - facilities were great and everyone at the hotel was welcoming and pleasant - but my room could have been cleaner upon arrival (the bathroom needed an extra wipe down in all areas). Be prepared so spend a lot of money while you're there - drinks are $17-25!

legendary hotel, terrible poolside service
Service at the pools is extremely slow... prepare to wait. And then have to flag people down.

Upcharges, Chaos but nice pools & kids program
There were bed bugs I had to sleep on top of the linen or I got bitten and was woken up from bite. They charged extra for the fridge there was no microwave in our room. Parking isn’t included they charge $50 a day for valet parking or it’s $20 a day at a nearby lot. Room was small & no bathtub only a shower. We had a neighbor whose sprinkler burst so it flooded and the carpet outside our door got soaked. There were fans blowing all night to dry it up. Convenient location, Mimosa with CU Cafe and Friday nite & Saturday lunch & minyan is next door. Pools are beautiful and they have a nice kids program.

Poor 2.0
Worst experience ever.
COMPLETE DISASTER - Had issues every single night of our stay and none of the staff and management addressed our concerns. We ordered room service, which was an hour late, and when we got our food, the tomatoes still had the plastic label on them - the kind you peal off when you wash produce before cooking it. When I raised the issue to the room service manager, his response was that the plastic label was edible! Later that night, someone tried to open our room door. We had the security latch so luckily noone got in. When we called the security manager, his first response was that there would be a number of reasons why someone would come into our room at 11:30 pm. Really? We demanded an investigation and the hotel later told it it was supposedly housekeeping (even though they didn't knock or announce themselves). Despite our request, they didn't transfer us to another room because they supposedly had none left. Next day, we were finally transferred to a different room. When we got ready for bed, the smell of marijuana from the room next door was unbearable. When we told the manager, he was more preoccupied with having us find where exactly the smell came from than finding us a new room. Poor customer service, inappropriate responses, zero appreciation for returning customers (this was not our first time at the Eden Roc), and the list goes on.

Dirty room
Just couldnt relax on this trip.First room the bathroom was disgusting. Hair all over and it smelled of body odor. I c asked someone to come clean the bathroom, they did but the smell remained. I asked to be moved, they said to come back after 4pm to get a new room. I came in again from the beach at 4pm ready to move and then was told the room was no longer available. We checked in on Wednesday, so two nights in the smelly room. On Friday morning they were able to move us. This room did not have a smell but was FREEZING, I turned the thermostat up to 85 and it made no difference. Everytime we would make a request, call down for something we had to call a second time before the request was complete. On Sunday they just completely skipped cleaning our room. The do not disturb was not on the door. I had to call down for extra towels, shampoo, coffee etc. then they came to clean at 5pm when we were trying to get dressed for dinner. The beach area was no better, I asked for a drink menu and they never brought it, I ordered a drink and it took over a hour to come. The sunny pics on the website are a joke, The sun is gone behind the building by 11am every day. On the last day I asked for a late checkout and they could not accomodate the request but said it is no problem they will store our luggage and our kids can shower in the spa. But they didnt tell us it was only 18 and older allowed in the spa. There were food trays left in the hallways for an entire day. A dine in cart left t

Great stay on the beach
Really enjoyed our stay. Check in was sub par (room wasn’t ready until 4:30 and our bags didn’t get to our room until after 5, after we had to go and point them out to the bell man), but the hotel staff made up for any mishaps with breakfast every day. We booked the one bedroom suite which was perfect for traveling with a baby and had ample room. Beautiful views. Large balcony. Would book again.

Not the place you would enjoy staying
We had built a lot excitement based on the photos, however it was not even close to what you would’ve expected. The check-in was a mess. The Valet area was swamped with confusion and what seemed to be a mess without any common management experience for a hotel. When we arrived in the lobby, there was a long line that seemed like it was very slow to move. Our check in was pretty basic, however over hearing the other guest next to us there was a general uneasy feeling with the time it took to get room keys. The lobby gives a grand welcoming feeling from the decor, but the elevator and the rest is really dated and almost run down feeling. Our room was big, still dusty from the last week or so. You could see where the cleaning staff touched on the floor panels and couldn’t reach. Hand prints across the bed headboard...lol. Looked like what you would see in an old Miami Vice Film. The place is overdue for some ownership that can make this place better. The room service we ordered took about 2 hours to put together a flat bread pizza that was supposed to be vegetarian (pictures will show) was incorrect and a hotdog that seemed like it was in a hot roller for the day. In short this place sucks.

Beautiful hotel with some declining conditions
Beautiful hotel with some declining conditions that need more attention to detail. (Ex: bathroom shower door didn't fit the door frame, causing it to be stuck and difficult to open, the hallways were not airconditioned and very hot/muggy, the robes need to be replaced. Cannot beat the views and the location. You can walk right out onto the beach. The guest rooms were well decorated and they even provide flat irons for that humidity caused frizz!
