Front desk people were helpful and friendly. There was no tea in the room but the front desk sent us to the restaurant which was just across the lobby and they gave us tea bags and a pitcher of cream.

Nice place for a MUCH older crowd
Cons: I had a REALLY tiny room. Too far from the Stamford train station; not fault of the hotel's. No business center to do work after checking out. I felt a little out of place as it seemed the hotel was for older retirees. A place older grandparents would probably stay. Pros: Wonderful Friendly staff. Even in the two eating places. When asked for a room with a decent view, I was granted it despite the fact it was REALLY small.
A Traveler, us1 night trip

I checked in to a rather hyper desk attendant who within an hour forgot I was staying there. I went to my tiny room, has as a rock bed and very creeky loud floors and stayed packed --- luckily I did! I went to have dinner, in the bar where apparently ever senior citizen local hangs out, my food arrived with a non emotional waitress and hair in my food. She huffed and I swear they just flipped flopped everything in the kitchen before I got it back. I ate it (because I was starving) but since it got louder and the bar maid was giving more attention to the regulars, I paid and left. I went back to the desk, where, as mentioned she forgot who I was and was not happy with my review of the bar. She asked if there was anything she could do, I had asked if they wouldnt charge me for dinner. She said she would take care of it. I went back to my room, which was so far to get to (you have to walk past many ballroooms - dont get married here) I grabbed my luggage and went to check out. She forgot who I was again but when a gaggle of locals came in, she directed her attention to them. I was like, "hello?" She said, "oh, you are all checked out." So I started to walk away, she called out, "did you use anything?" I said I used a glass since I needed a drink of water because the room was dry." I got a dirty look. Two days later, I was charged for the hairy meal. Thanks, how delightful.

We really enjoyed this place. It was quiet, comfortable and very clean. A perfect little weekend getaway. Plus it was close to downtown and all kinds of cool things, like the aquarium. Brian at the front desk was particularly welcoming and helpful!

The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. This was a perfect location for us to stay for an event at Chelsea Piers.
