Great hotel at a reasonable price!
It was a great place to stay. Room was clean with all the needed items available. James swapped a non-smoking room for me. Breaksfast was really good with fresh waffles, hot food and other items.

Not fancy but clean and comfortable
This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here when we were in the area for family functions. The place is no frills and the wallpaper’s a little dated, but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff courteous. If your looking for a decent place to sleep on a budget this is it.

Not so hot
The price upon arrival was $5 more than the posted price on the day before. Also, after we got settled into our room, a new ad had the very same room advertised for $30 cheaper than what we paid for it! Also, though the general condition of the room was clean, it was quite disconcerting to find a wad of long black hair in our shower! So our shower was not cleaned before we occupied the room! We probably will never stay here again.

Worst hotel for more than 1 reason
I reserved the room a week prior to getting there as we reserved for an upcoming wedding. I cleaned the room for 2 hours before we got comfortable because of the mold on the ceiling ,the dust in the closet, shelves and mattress and obvious signs that it had just been used and quick cleaned. (I do have pictures because i sent them to my daughter so she wouldn't also make the mistake we did and get a room) My husband filled the Jacuzzi ,got in and when he touched the cold water handle he got shocked. If the hot tub was actually running at the time he would have been electrocuted. James, the steward, spoke to the manager, Dave, and did move us to a better room at no extra charge is what i was told. I cleaned this room for another hour as it was not as dirty. I found an extra charge of $57.76 came off of my card on May 1 2018! That is on top of what i had already paid on April 23,2018. I called to speak to the manager and of course he is not returning my calls. I WILL NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst stay i ever had! It was a flea bag motel. Now i know why the wedding venue didn't recommend that hotel.

Kennels are for dogs. Hotels are for people.
There were dogs (at least two but likely three) staying in nearby room(s) that made my second night at the inn very unpleasant. Continuous barking at times for nearly an hour and occasionally at other times even when they were outside the of the room going for walks and returning.. I rarely complain about any commercial service, but on this occasion I had to call the front desk. I felt I was staying at a kennel.
